My Philosophy

Everything is connected.
Your history, your goals, your pain points, your ankle bone to your knee bone to your hip to your back. I help connect the dots and find solutions that work for you, and last.
Many doctors treat people without looking at the bigger picture. I'm here to change that - my philosophy is rooted in wanting to understand your past and your present, to be able to change your future.
Beyond that, I hope to empower the people I work with. Any knowledge I have regarding movement patterns, human anatomy, strength training, mindfulness, nutrition, sleep health, and how to form better habits is all yours. I hope to provide freedom to the people I work with, so they are empowered to help themselves.
My goal is to give you guidance to find your own path forward. I use my expert knowledge to understand the root cause of what's holding you back, and put the power in your hands.

CLIENT TESTIMONIALS

SERVICES

1
Movement Analysis Consultation
This consultation is a comprehensive evaluation of how your body moves as a system -- identifying compensatory patterns, mechanical inefficiencies, and the upstream and downstream factors contributing to your symptoms. The result is a clear, evidence-informed picture of what's driving your pain and exactly what needs to change.
2
Physical Therapy Evaluation & Treatment
One-on-one, individualized care focused on root cause resolution -- not symptom management. Each treatment plan is built around a thorough evaluation of your movement patterns, joint mechanics, neuromuscular function, and lifestyle factors. The standard here is long-term functional restoration -- not short-term relief.
3
Wellness Programming & Goal Achieving
A structured, personalized coaching program addressing the six interconnected pillars of wellness -- mindset, fitness, nutrition, sleep, stress, and social health. Built around your specific goals and history, this program combines evidence-based strategy with ongoing accountability to create sustainable, lasting change and guidance as you need it.
Frequently Asked Questions
What actually causes pain?
Pain is far more complex than most people are told. It's not simply a signal that something is damaged -- it's your nervous system's way of protecting you based on everything it knows: your history, your stress levels, your movement habits, your sleep, your past experiences. Two people can have the exact same MRI and have completely different pain experiences. Understanding this changes everything about how we approach getting you better -- because treating the scan is not the same as treating the person.
Can stress and sleep actually make my pain worse?
Yes -- and this isn't just anecdotal. Poor sleep increases inflammatory markers, elevates cortisol, and lowers your pain threshold. Chronic stress keeps your nervous system in a heightened state, which makes it more likely to interpret normal sensations as threatening. I've worked with clients who were doing everything right physically but couldn't get ahead of their pain -- until we addressed what was happening with their stress and sleep. The body is a system. All of it counts.
What makes Realigned by Regan different from traditional physical therapy?
Physical therapy goes beyond treating symptoms. Treatment here is individualized, one-on-one, and focused on understanding why your body is experiencing pain or limitations. I help integrate movement patterns, physics of your physiology, nervous system regulation, and lifestyle factors to support long-term change, not just short-term relief. Beyond understanding your body better, my aim is to be a coach and a support to you throughout the journey.
Do I need a referral from my doctor?
In most cases, no. Colorado (and many other states) allows direct access to physical therapy, meaning you can schedule an evaluation without a physician referral. If your condition requires additional medical input, I will guide you through next steps.
Is physical therapy only for people who are injured?
Not at all. Physical therapy is also valuable for:
-
Improving movement efficiency
-
Preventing future injuries
-
Supporting performance and longevity
-
Managing stress-related tension
-
Learning how to move confidently again
